The following information explains the proper way to request material from our Offsite Storage Collections. In HSLIC's catalog you will encounter certain prompts based on which shelving location a title resides in. Offsite Storage Collections include: Books Circulating - Offsite Storage, Books Non-Circulating - Offsite Storage and Bound Journals - Offsite Storage.

Books Circulating - Offsite Storage

If you are an affiliate of UNM, click on the "Hold for Pick Up" button in WorldCat to request an item.

You will be prompted to log in to your library account. This is a separate login from your HSC/NetID credentials.

To create a library account: Click "Set/Reset Password", enter your Banner ID# (UNM ID#), then click "Request New Password". Follow the email instructions to set a new password.

You will have the option to place a hold for "any copy of this item" or "a specific copy or volume" or "special request". Select "University of New Mexico Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center" as the Pick up Option. You will be notified when material is ready to pick up.
